East Atlanta Library

Newco Construction was selected as the general contractor to build Fulton County’s first LEED Certified Library. This 8,000 square foot facility was built with a number of innovative technologies. Newco constructed the facility with features such as underground detention, porous concrete parking lot, complete raised flooring system, underfloor air distribution, and underfloor modular wire and cable system. Upon construction complete, continuous communication with the Architect and Fulton County’s construction manager was key in securing the LEED Certification. With a unique exterior design and innovative interior, the East Atlanta community was proud to accept the new library into their community.
